Lao Cai Fused Calcium Magnesium Phosphate (LAFCO) is crystallized from selected Lao Cai Apatite ore, fully combining Phosphorus, Calcium, Magnesium, Silicon, and natural trace elements. It is also known as vitreous phosphate fertilizer or calcium-magnesium phosphate fertilizer.
Its low water solubility means it only dissolves upon contact with plant roots, delivering nutrients at the right time and place, minimizing loss and leaching, and proving especially effective on degraded, sloped, and drought-prone soils. The Calcium and Magnesium in the fertilizer also reduce soil acidity, making the soil looser and richer in nutrients with each crop cycle.
The result is stronger roots, thicker leaves, healthier plants with fewer pests and diseases, and markedly higher yields — a sustainable nutrition solution that delivers long-term economic benefits for farmers across industrial crop, fruit tree, staple crop, and cash crop regions.
II. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Suitable for staple crops (rice, corn, sweet potato, cassava), industrial crops (coffee, black pepper, rubber, tea...), fruit trees (durian, avocado, macadamia, cashew...), and land areas requiring improvement (acidic, degraded, phosphorus-poor, deteriorated soils). Specific dosages for each crop type are as follows:
1. Rice and short-term crops (corn, sweet potato, cassava)
| Stage | Dosage | Application method |
|---|---|---|
| Base fertilization | 400 - 500 kg/ha | Spread evenly before transplanting/sowing or during land preparation, combined with manure |
2. Coffee trees (by tree age)
| Stage | Dosage (kg/ha/year) | Application method |
|---|---|---|
| New planting (base fertilization) | 300 - 400 | Apply as a full base dose at planting |
| Year 2 | 500 | Split into 2 applications: early and mid rainy season |
| Year 3 | 600 | Split into 2 applications: early and mid rainy season |
| Year 4 onward (production stage) | 700 | Split into 2 applications: early and mid rainy season |
3. Black pepper
| Stage | Dosage | Application method |
|---|---|---|
| New planting | 0.5 - 1 kg/plant | Apply as base fertilization when placing the seedling |
| From year 2 onward | 1.5 - 2 kg/plant/year | Split into 2 applications: early and late rainy season |
4. Rubber trees
| Stage | Dosage | Application method |
|---|---|---|
| New planting | 1 kg/tree | Apply as a single base dose at planting |
| Basic construction (years 1-7) | 350 - 450 g/tree/year | Split into 2 applications: 2/3 of the amount at early rainy season, 1/3 at late rainy season |
| Production (latex tapping) | 800 - 1,000 g/tree/year | Split into 2 applications per year |
5. Fruit trees (durian, avocado, macadamia, cashew...)
| Stage | Dosage | Application method |
|---|---|---|
| New planting | 1 - 2 kg/plant | Apply as base fertilization at planting |
| Annual care | 2 - 3 kg/plant/year | Apply after harvest, during the recovery stage, depending on tree age and canopy diameter |
