Lao Cai Fused Magnesium Phosphate Fertilizer (LAFCO) contributed VND 750 million to accompany the 2026 Lao Cai Province Investment Promotion Conference, the province's first large-scale investment promotion event following its administrative merger.
On the morning of July 17, 2026, at the Lao Cai Provincial Convention Center, the 2026 Lao Cai Province Investment Promotion Conference officially took place under the theme "Lao Cai – Connecting Development, Green and Sustainable." This was the province's first large-scale investment promotion conference since its administrative merger, gathering nearly 700 delegates, including Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, leaders from numerous central ministries and agencies, international organizations, diplomatic missions, business associations, and a large number of domestic and foreign investors. Lao Cai Fused Magnesium Phosphate Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (LAFCO) was honored to be among the province's leading enterprises accompanying the event.
At the conference, Lao Cai Province presented investment policy approval decisions for 24 projects with a total registered capital of more than VND 24,000 billion, a figure that clearly reflects the scale and significance of the event for the province's economic development orientation in this new phase, as its development space has expanded and its resources have grown more abundant following the merger of administrative boundaries.
As part of the program, LAFCO contributed VND 750 million to accompany the organization of the conference. This contribution reflects the company's sense of responsibility toward the locality, while also affirming its commitment to helping build an increasingly transparent, favorable, and sustainably developing investment environment in Lao Cai.
As a business with a long-standing connection to Lao Cai — from its apatite ore raw material source to its production plant located here — LAFCO believes that the development of the locality is the very foundation for the sustainable development of the business community. Therefore, alongside its production and business activities, LAFCO always strives to accompany the province on its journey of economic and agricultural development and investment attraction, in keeping with the "green and sustainable" spirit pursued by this conference.
We wish Lao Cai Province continued success in attracting strategic investors, successfully implementing new projects, and gradually rising to become a growth pole of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region.
